Overview

Clinsoft uses a compact, accessible color system designed for clinical contexts. Brand recognition comes from restrained use of vivid brand hues, supported by a neutral base.

Palette harmony

Clinsoft’s logo blends an analogous base (Violet → Azure) with balanced complements (Green ↔ Red) to signal clarity, care, and confident action. The larger cool hues (violet/blue) carry trust and composure; the smaller warm accent (red) creates a precise focal point like a clinical marker without overwhelming the mark.

Usage Ratio

Backgrounds (White / Neutral 100): ~70%
Text & structure (Neutral 900/700): ~20%
Accents (Violet/Azure/Green/Red): ~10%

Accessibility

Normal text contrast ≥ 4.5:1; large text ≥ 3:1.
Use Neutral 900 on white for paragraphs; use white on Violet only when contrast is ≥ 3:1.

Don’ts

Don’t set paragraphs in Azure, Green, or Red.
Don’t place text on gradients or photography without an overlay ensuring contrast.
Don’t stack multiple bright accents in the same content block.
Don’t use pure black (#000000) for body text.

Rationale

Near‑black for text reduces halation and eye strain compared to #000000 on white.
Restrained accents maintain hierarchy and protect accessibility in dense clinical content.
Consistent ordering of chart colors builds instant recognition in reports.
Industry‑standard neutrals & functional hues simplify cross‑team adoption and vendor workflows.

Quality checks

Contrast‑check all text and key UI elements (target ≥ 4.5:1).
View assets on both light/dark modes and common projectors; verify legibility.
If on imagery, is there a dark overlay (≥ 12%) or sufficiently plain area?
